For decades, the Tahoe's third row was a penalty box: a solid rear axle under the floor forced the seat up high and the cargo floor up with it, leaving about 15 cubic feet behind the last row. The Premier adds Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and the Safety Alert Seat, which vibrates the left or right side of the cushion toward a hazard instead of beeping.
