This upscale sedan runs on a hybrid powertrain and an all-wheel drive system. Featuring a sporty profile, this electrified model comes in bold exterior colors. Toyota adds its well-established Dynamic Force engine to the 2023 Crown. Running on the efficient VVT-iE mechanics, this I-4 powertrain kicks out 184 net horsepower. This naturally aspirated, four-cylinder powerplant develops up to 163 pound-feet of torque. A 40-kW rear motor and 88-kW front motor are smoothly incorporated into the hybrid powertrain. Several traditional driving modes are available for this all-new sedan, including the Eco, Normal, and Sport. The EV Mode gives you the luxury of enjoying an all-electric trip for short distances. Compressing unleaded gas at 14:1, the entry-level hybrid system yields 236 measurable hp. This luxurious Toyota sedan also offers the Hybrid Max powertrain that generates a combined output of 340 hp. A 61-kW front motor and 58.6-kW rear motor are part of the all-new hybrid system. When all hybrid components operate in full synchrony, they deliver up to 400 lb-ft. In fact, the 2023 Toyota Crown accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 5.7 seconds. The Sport+ Mode enables such class-leading acceleration on the pavement. You can also select the Custom Mode for the Hybrid Max powertrain. Additionally, this hybrid sedan runs on the standard Electronic On-Demand AWD that varies the torque split between the front and rear wheels.

The 2023 Toyota Crown is mass-produced in gorgeous exterior colors, such as the racing-inspired Supersonic Red and nature-inspired Oxygen White. Some other monotone paint options for this hybrid car include Magnetic Gray and Heavy Metal. You can create a bi-tone finish by mixing the black roof with Bronzed Age or other colors mentioned above. The base trim rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels with multiple spokes. Other models boast 21-inch alloy wheels with 10-spoke layouts. Quad-LED headlamps certainly emphasize the sophisticated design of this hybrid Toyota sedan. LED tail lights and LED stop lights are also standard on this high-end model.
