Toyota introduces the i-FORCE MAX powertrain to the lineup of the 2023 Sequoia. This all-new hybrid powertrain delivers an astounding 437 gross horsepower. Cranking out 583 pound-feet of torque, the signature powerhouse is virtually unmatched in the current marketplace. With easy leverage from the electrified engine, this full-size Toyota SUV tows up to 9,520 net pounds. For this large vehicle, you can select the all-new Tow+ Mode or conventional Tow/Haul Mode. Such custom modes control the shifting behavior in the 10-speed automatic transmission system. You can easily select the Sport S+, Eco, Normal and other modes for the 2023 Sequoia. Displacing 4.0 L, the 2023 Toyota 4Runner’s V-6 engine whips out a total of 270 hp. This traditional six-cylinder powertrain develops just under 280 lb-ft. A 5,000-lb towing capacity is another prominent specification of this versatile Toyota SUV. Tuned for simple dynamics, a five-speed automatic gearbox drives the 4Runner. However, you’ll find a handful of superb off-road technologies on this model, such as the Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select. Likewise, the Sequoia boasts the M-TS suite with numerous off-road modes. This full-size SUV has a standard ground clearance of 8.6 inches. The 4Runner clears the ground by 9.4 or 9.6 inches based on the trim level. Additionally, both Toyota SUVs offer exclusive shock absorbers with the Bilstein design.
Utility Features
The 2023 Toyota Sequoia offers powerful LED headlamps with Auto Leveling technology and sequential turn signals. Thanks to power-extending towing mirrors, you will tow with more confidence. This full-size Toyota model also offers the all-new LED Trailer Reverse Assist Lighting for easier towing at night. Select trims are available with LED fog lamps and an overhead LED light bar. In fact, the 2023 Toyota 4Runner already comes equipped with LED fog lights at the assembly line. This tough model has standard roof rails and heated outside mirrors. Some accessories that improve off-road driving include splash guards, skid plates, and running boards.

Toyota unveils a 14-inch touch screen for the 2023 Sequoia. This huge display comes with familiar applications like Wi-Fi Connect and wireless Apple CarPlay. A 14-speaker sound system from JBL is another major improvement to the car’s technical department. You can listen to more than 400 channels on trial SiriusXM Platinum plan. A 10-inch head-up display and 12.3-inch digital cluster provide new levels of visual guidance inside this full-size Toyota SUV.
