2025 Toyota Tundra Performance Features

Performance Features

The 2025 Tundra adopts Toyota’s signature i-FORCE technology. This full-size truck runs on a 3.4-liter engine block, which includes two turbochargers. Most models tap into 389 net horsepower from the V-6 engine. Using direct injection, the twin-turbo engine cranks out 479 pound-feet of peak torque. In dramatic contrast, the 2025 F-150 only gets 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque from the 2.7-L EcoBoost engine. The massive 5.0-L engine has maximum ratings of only 400 hp and 410 lb-ft. This Ford truck is available with the 3.5-L EcoBoost engine, which has a net output of 400 hp. Both models have an automatic transmission system with 10 different gear ratios. You’ll get more mechanical versatility from the Tundra’s gearbox. For example, the Shift Logic and Downhill Assist Control improves handling on steep roads or trails. This light-duty Toyota truck also boasts numerous off-road modes from the Multi-Terrain Select. Likewise, the 2025 F-150 offers the Deep Snow/Sand and other selectable off-road settings. However, the Tundra truly stands out on the road thanks to the Sport S+ Mode. Additionally, this premium truck offers a sport-tuned suspension package with Bilstein branding.
