Performance Features
Engineered for robust and efficient performance, the i-FORCE MAX engine propels the 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and Capstone models. Two identical turbochargers are incorporated into the patented hybrid powertrain. These mechanical components include a water-cooled system and an electric wastegate for optimal performance. Gasoline enters the combustion chambers through the D-4ST injection system. A 12-V starter controls other combustion processes in the V-6 engine. An electric motor is another crucial propulsion component, generating up to 48 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Filled with nickel-metal hydride, a 288-V battery pack provides plenty of electrical power. In fact, the electrified powerhouse spits out 437 net hp. When spinning at a fixed rate of 2,400 RPM, the i-FORCE MAX powertrain releases 583 lb-ft of torque. Both 2025 Tundra trims run on a 10-speed automatic transmission system. Some standard driving settings for the gearbox include the Sport, Normal, and Eco. The Capstone offers the exclusive Custom, Sport S, and Sport S+ modes for elevated performance. Both Toyota trucks can run on the Tow/Haul Mode. You can tow up to 10,340 gross pounds with the Capstone trim. The TRD Pro has a trailering capacity of 11,175 lb.
Truck Amenities
The Smart Key System provides enhanced convenience for entering the 2025 Tundra TRD Pro and Capstone. This versatile key fob has a remote lock, unlock, and panic functions. With the push of a button, you could remotely release the tailgate. Both light-duty trucks have a 5.5-foot bed for hauling a variety of items. You could use the innovative Knee Lift Assist technology to load cargo with ease. The Capstone model has a payload rating of 1,485 lb. You could haul up to 1,600 lb. with the TRD Pro. The compact bed has aluminum and composite reinforcements for maximum protection. Delivering up to 400 W, a 120-V AC outlet is standard on these premium Toyota models.
Design Features
The 2025 Tundra TRD Pro rolls on custom 18-inch wheels with forged-aluminum construction and signature center caps. Dark Chrome is applied to the 2025 Tundra Capstone’s 22-inch wheels. This high-end trim also boasts premium LED headlights with automatic leveling for better views of the road. Both light-duty Toyota trucks have LED fog lamps. The TRD Pro includes LED marker lights and an LED light bar. This rugged model is equipped with signature skid plates, red-painted coil springs, and the Xply Armor covers. Clearing the ground by 9 inches, the TRD Pro certainly has an advantage on off-road trails. You’ll get additional off-road utility from the Multi-Terrain Monitor. The Capstone’s Trailer Backup Guide comes in handy for moving a trailer in tight spaces.
