2024 Toyota Camry Performance Features

Performance Features

The 2025 Toyota Camry runs on a fifth-generation hybrid powertrain, which generates 225 net horsepower. The improved hybrid engine is available with the Electronic On-Demand AWD system. You’ll get up to 232 net hp from such a premium drivetrain. An electronically controlled CVT links the hybrid system with either driveline. By contrast, the 2024 Camry gets a maximum of 208 net hp from a hybrid system. You could also get this model with a V-6 engine, which whips out 301 hp. The potent 3.5-L engine dishes out 267 pound-feet of peak torque. Toyota eliminated the six-cylinder engine from the entire 2025 Camry lineup. Both midsize sedans use lithium-ion technology in the battery pack. These hybrid vehicles also offer the EV Mode, Eco Mode, and other custom driving settings. You could buy the 2024 Camry with an eight-speed automatic transmission carrying the Direct Shift technology. The non-hybrid editions roll on the optional Dynamic Torque Control AWD. Both Camry versions offer a sport-tuned suspension system. However, you won’t find any TRD-tuned components on the 2025 models.
