Performance Capabilities

Toyota installs an all-new hybrid powertrain on the entire 2025 Camry lineup. Burning regular-grade gasoline at a 14:1 compression ratio, a 2.5-liter engine forms the primary core of the hybrid system. This internal combustion engine generates roughly 185 horsepower at a fixed tachometer reading. Additional electrical power is available from the lithium-ion battery pack. Each small cell in the sealed battery delivers up to 3.7 V. Rated at 100 kW, a single motor is paired with the front-wheel drive configuration. Such a driveline has a net rating of 225 hp. Generating 30 kW, a second motor is incorporated into the Electronic On-Demand AWD. The dual-motor driveline has a peak rating of 232 hp. Both Camry trims have a continuously variable transmission and the Drive Mode Select. If you engage the EV Mode, you will turn off combustion in the Dynamic Force engine. However, the Eco Mode harnesses power from the Li-ion battery, motors, and gas engine. Both hybrid cars have a peak fuel economy of 48 mpg in the city and 47 mpg on the highway. The DMS module includes the Normal Mode and Sport Mode for additional versatility on the road. Both Camry models ride on a sport-tuned rear suspension system and an independent front suspension.

Interior Amenities

The 2025 Toyota Camry SE is furnished with the trademark SofTex upholstery on the eight-way driver’s seat. Such a premium material is wrapped around the six-way manual passenger’s seat. Eight-way front seats with power controls are standard on the 2025 Toyota Camry XSE. These upgraded seats are available with ventilation and heating for a higher level of comfort. Rear seats with adjustable headrests are also optional for this midsize sedan. Both Camry editions have a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. A heating system is incorporated into the XSE’s steering wheel. Each edition has a dual-zone climate control system with air filters, humidity sensors, and rear air vents. You could add a white ambient lighting system to the XSE trim. Additionally, this premium Camry model offers a panoramic glass roof with a sliding panel above the front row.
