By contrast, the 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 only grabs a total of 310 hp and lb-ft of torque from the standard Turbomax engine block. If you invest more money in the Tundra’s i-FORCE MAX engine, you will easily enjoy segment-leading capabilities. This boosted propulsion system whips out 437 hp. Synced with a motor and 288-V Ni-MH battery, the all-new hybrid system yields 583 lb-ft. You won’t get as much power from the Chevy model’s enormous 6.2-L gas engine or 3.0-L Duramax diesel engine. We want to emphasize the Toyota truck’s other superior mechanical features, including a standard 10-speed automatic transmission system. You can access the Uphill/Downhill Shift Logic technology from this signature gearbox. Similarly, the full-size Chevy truck runs on a 10-speed automatic transmission and conventional 4×4 drive system. When equipped with the 4WDemand system, the 2024 Tundra offers better all-surface traction. This light-duty Toyota model could also be fitted with a locking differential on the rear driveline. Some custom driving modes that improve the truck’s on-road performance include the Sport S+ and Comfort. Additionally, this premium workhorse offers the FOX suspension system with off-road tuning.
Technology Features
Having a footprint of 14 inches, the 2024 Tundra’s touchscreen is one of the largest in the class.
