Performance Features

Performance Features

The 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE has a 2.5-L engine block, producing 176 horsepower. This four-cylinder engine also propels the 2024 RAV4 XSE model. Electronic Fuel Injection initiates combustion in the I-4 powerplant. Additional management is provided by the Electronic Throttle Control System with intelligence (ETCS-i) technology. An electric motor sends an additional 118 hp to the front wheels. This propulsion component delivers nearly 150 pound-feet of torque. Another motor diverts 54 hp and 89 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Rated at approximately 245 V, a Nickel-Metal Hydride battery pack propels the RAV4 Hybrid XLE trim. Operating at nearly 260 V, a lithium-ion battery pack powers the RAV4 Hybrid XSE edition. Both models could run in EV Mode, which temporarily shuts off combustion. Thanks to the Trail Mode, these versatile Toyota crossover SUVs could easily navigate off-road surfaces. You can boost the throttle system through the Sport Mode. If you want to optimize fuel economy on the road, select the Eco Mode. These efficient hybrid cars have the signature Electronic On-Demand AWD for superb all-surface control. Additionally, a sport-tuned suspension system gives the RAV4 Hybrid XSE trim an extra advantage on the highway.
