Toyota adds a 2.0-L engine block to the 2024 Corolla SE and XSE. This gasoline-burning engine kicks out approximately 170 net horsepower at 6,600 RPM. Operating on the VVT-i technology, the four-cylinder powertrain dispenses just over 150 pound-feet of torque. Both sedans run on a front-wheel drive and the Dynamic-Shift Continuously Variable Transmission. With each vehicle, you’ll get up to 40 mpg on the highway and 31 mpg in the city. The Eco Mode will help you attain the best possible fuel economy on the road. You could deploy the Sport Mode for passing other vehicles or merging on high-speed roads. The Normal Mode provides a great balance of sporty performance and efficiency. Both Corolla SE and XSE editions have a curb-to-curb turning diameter of 35.6 feet. You can easily execute sharp turns thanks to the Electric Power Steering with a rack-and-pinion configuration. Measuring 10.8 inches in diameter, ventilated front disc brakes are standard on the 2024 Corolla SE and XSE. Additionally, both editions have solid 10.2-inch rear disc brakes.
Technology Features
The 2024 Toyota Corolla SE and XSE have a modern infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen. You can use a single knob to adjust the volume settings on the multimedia console.
