Performance Features
The Toyota Hybrid System (THS) smoothly propels the 2024 Camry Hybrid. This proprietary powertrain generates up to 208 horsepower in normal driving conditions. Most of the power is produced by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine block. Additional power comes from an electric motor, which is rated at 650 V and 88 kW. The LE base model boasts a maximum fuel economy of 53 mpg on the highway and 51 mpg in the city. The 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid can’t extract more than 204 net hp from a hybrid powerplant. This midsize Honda sedan has a peak fuel efficiency of 51 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway. Both vehicles utilize a lithium-ion battery pack for efficient driving. You can select the Normal, ECON, Sport, and Individual modes for the Accord Hybrid. Similarly, the Camry Hybrid runs on the Eco, Normal, and Sport settings. This midsize Toyota model also offers the exclusive EV Mode, which only extracts power from the Li-ion battery. Tuned for efficient handling, an electronically controlled CVT propels the Camry Hybrid. Similarly, the Accord Hybrid runs on the E-CVT with deceleration selectors.
Technology Features
Toyota offers a 9-inch infotainment system for the 2024 Camry Hybrid. A 10.2-inch multimedia center is standard on the 2024 Accord Hybrid. Some Camry Hybrid trims come with one-year trials to Remote Connect and Safety Connect. Select models include a 10-year trial to Service Connect. All editions have a limited 30-day subscription to Wi-Fi Connect with 4G mobile data from AT&T. Both midsize sedans are available with fully wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 10-inch footprint and a color head-up display are optional inside the Toyota model. You’ll only get a 6-inch HUD on the most expensive Accord Hybrid trim.

Toyota proudly equips the 2024 Camry Hybrid with the TSS 2.5+ technologies for enhanced peace of mind. Every model includes additional safety features from the Star Safety System. Select trims offer the Blind Spot Monitor and Parking Assist with Automatic Braking. Honda also adds lots of advanced safety technologies to the 2024 Accord Hybrid.
