3rd Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Hockey Fun Day

The 3rd Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Hockey Fun Day event was held on Sunday, May 4 at The Ice in Cumming, GA. Beaver Toyota and The Ice were excited to be Presenting Sponsors again this year! Additional supporters included: 33 North, 94.9 The Bull / iHeart Radio, AAHL, Beaver Mazda, Bounce House Atlanta, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Ice Cream Social, LETR, North Georgia Creative Media (NGCM), Printing & Promotional Solutions, Rocklobsters, Shipley Donuts, Special Olympics Georgia, and Stretch Lab!

The day was completely FULL OF FUN! It started with hockey games in the morning at both the youth and adult levels. Then the afternoon was filled with the jumpy house, waterslide, dunk tank, and vendor give-aways! There was also plenty of fresh cooked pork and chicken BBQ from Porko Smoko – led by their Pitmaster, Caitlin Atkinson. Dessert options included lots of homemade treats donated by Becca Weinreic – and Ice Cream Social was there with lots of yummy ice cream and sorbet on-hand! Proceeds raised at the time of the event were over $22,500 – and donations are still continuing to come in! All of this fun helps support the thousands of deserving Special Olympics Georgia athletes be able to have uniforms for FREE! Beaver Toyota, The Ice, and all of the supporters agree – we are all truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful and worthy cause!
