2025 Forsyth County Teacher of the Year

Forsyth County Schools held their annual Celebration of Excellence luncheon on Friday, March 14 to celebrate their teachers, education partners, and parent/guardian leaders for 2025. The luncheon’s theme this year was Blooming With Excellence and there were 42 Teacher of the Year recipients (one from each school)! From that list, the following 5 Finalists were selected – Jessica Plouff (Coal Mtn ES), Suzie Dominique (Hendricks MS), Amanda Schwartz (Shiloh Point ES), Amy Pearce (South Forsyth MS), and Mikki Cosson (South Forsyth HS). All of the 5 Finalists had amazing backgrounds, but only one could be honored as the Teacher of the Year – and that was Mikki Cosson!group of people

Beaver Toyota delighted in working with local community establishments to provide gifts for this event, as follows.

42 Teachers of the Year – a $25 gift card to Feast26 and a $100 gift card to Crown & Co. Salon
5 Finalists – a $250 gift card to Beaver Toyota for a full-service vehicle detail and four individual $100 gift cards to: Casa Nuova, Fairly Local Cookies, Home Goods, and Meatbone Market
1 Teacher of the Year – a $1,500 gift certificate from Beaver Toyota towards Home Cleaning or Meal Delivery Service
